Ancient Roman bronze AE4, likely issued under Emperor Arcadius (AD 383–408) and likely the SALVS REIPVBLICAE type dating to approximately AD 388–395.
The obverse appears to show a right-facing portrait of Arcadius with remnants of the surrounding legend. The reverse is heavily worn but appears consistent with Victory advancing left carrying a trophy and dragging a captive, with a likely Chi-Rho (☧) Christian symbol in the field.
Due to wear and incomplete legends, the attribution to Arcadius and exact type cannot be guaranteed and is listed as likely based on the surviving design, legend fragments, size, and weight.
