Vintage hand-carved wooden folk art figure depicting a bearded man wearing a tall wide-brimmed hat and long coat. The figure has a wonderful primitive/angular carving style and a very dark brown-to-black finish.
Measures approximately 10 inches tall with a base approximately 3 inches wide.
The man’s extended hand has a round opening that appears intended to hold a separate accessory such as a cane, pipe, tool or similar object. That accessory is not present.
