Beautiful vintage Amberina crackle art glass basket, likely made by Kanawha Glass of West Virginia, circa 1960s.
Hand-blown glass features a striking color transition from brilliant ruby red/orange at the flared rim to golden yellow at the base. The body has the characteristic crackle-glass texture and a thick applied clear glass handle.
Measures approximately 4¼” wide × 4” tall including handle. Unmarked.
Very good vintage condition with typical handmade glass characteristics and light age-related wear. The fine irregular lines visible throughout the colored glass are part of the intentional crackle-glass design.
