Vintage U.S. Army of Occupation Medal commemorating American occupation service following World War II.
The bronze medal features the Remagen Bridge abutments with “ARMY OF OCCUPATION” on the obverse. Reverse depicts Mount Fuji, two Japanese sailing vessels and the date 1945.
Includes the distinctive original-style black, red and white suspension ribbon with pin-back brooch. This example does not have a Germany or Japan campaign clasp.
Medal shows age-appropriate surface wear, scratches and patina. Ribbon remains attractive with some normal age/storage wear. Pin-back hardware is present.
No named recipient, service documentation or provenance accompanies the medal, so it is being offered as a collectible military medal.
